Born into the game, Rees Jones grew up traveling to golf courses around the world with his father, renowned course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. He has designed or redesigned 170 golf courses, including seven U.S. Open Courses. His impressive list of accolades include becoming one of only seven people to earn the Donald Ross Award, the Old Tom Morris Award, and the Don A. Rossi Award. In January 2016, the MetGCSA honored Jones with its John Reid Lifetime Achievement Award. His vision for Danzante Bay will make the course one of the crowns of the game.
